50 Cent said, "When I started working on [my 2010 movie] Twelve, I removed some tattoos. The call time they were giving me for covering tattoos was four hours before everyone else's call time."

He said, "I honestly never thought that I would get an opportunity to act, and I love it a lot. And it takes like three hours — you have to get there three hours earlier to cover all your tattoos because, for some reason, people in movies don't have them that much.

...So now I'm burning them off. Burning them off is worse than getting them. Because not only are they, like, burning off your skin, but you're wearing these big goggles, right? So you can't see anything, and the doctor's in there with you.

Before [the doctor] goes to laser each tattoo, you have to hear him announce what the tattoo is to make sure if you want to keep it or not. I'll just be sitting there all high off of the Pro-Nox — which is actually quite fun, I enjoy it — and then all of a sudden I'll just hear, 'Are we keeping the Stewie Griffin smoking a blunt?' And then I have to sit there and be like, 'No, Dr. G.'"

He continued, "First you have to give them a sample of your skin, which they then replicate. Once that's been done, they sew it on — and it's seamless. It's going to be pricey, but worth it."

He added, "So I was like, 'Oh man, hold up.'"

He added, "It buys me an extra 45 minutes [of] sleep in the morning."

She added, "I actually did start lasering tattoos, and although I think laser tattoo removal is effective, I personally wasn’t a good candidate considering how much coverage I wanted to remove. Laser is a slow (and extremely painful) process, that depending on your tattoo, can take more than 10 sessions, including long healing periods in between."

Later in the post, she explained why she chose to cover her tattoos. She said, "I had many tattoos that represented a part of my life that no longer aligns with who I am today. Some people are fine with keeping these types of landmarks in time on them — I personally grew tired of waking up to them, and seeing those constant reminders every time I looked in a mirror. Also, I really love the esthetic. I know it’s not for everyone but it is very satisfying to me to see a clean slate when I look down onto my arms."

A little over a year prior, she shared an Instagram video showing how her various tattoos were responding to laser removal. You can watch it here.

Previously, he told Billboard, "I have invested a lot of time in my life into tattooing, either getting a tattoo or thinking about opening a tattoo shop. My goal is to learn to be a good tattoo artist. And right now, I'm removing some of them from my face, and it's a painful but satisfying process.

I remember when I started with tattoos or that I started to wear a different style of clothing, that my [music] videos were not the typical soap opera style when I changed all that, doors opened for new talents, and that's pretty awesome."
